Income From Real Estate in 2018 is 121 Billion TL in Istanbul! According to the report prepared by the Real Estate Exchange (GABORAS), last year 120 billion 667 million TL was paid for  234 thousand 55 houses sold in mega city Istanbul.

According to the news  of Anadolu Agency, last year in Istanbul, 122 thousand  from 825 second hand units. Also, 111 thousand from 230 first-hand sales of 234 thousand 55 units, the commercial volume was calculated as 120 billion 667 million TL. Although the number of sales in the city decreased compared to the previous year, the value of the houses increased. In 2017, the value of housing sales increased from TL 101 billion 745 million to TL 18 billion 922 million in 2018.

As of the end of 2017, the foreign currency equivalent of the sales value of the houses was 26 billion 988 million dollars. Also, the value of the houses sold during 2018 was recorded as 22 billion 854 million dollars at the end of the year.

According to GABORAS’s report titled Konut 2018 Housing Sector Purchasing Operations, 238 thousand 383 houses were sold in Istanbul in 2017 and this number decreased to 234 thousand 55 units last year.

The economic volume generated by the housing sales in Istanbul increased by 19 percent in TL terms in 2018 compared to the previous year and decreased by 15 percent in dollar terms.

The highest sales by area in Esenyurt and Basaksehir

On the basis of area, the highest house sales were realized in Esenyurt with 3 million 729 thousand square meters.

Basaksehir  followed Esenyurt with 1 million 556 thousand square meters with sales. Beylikduzu with 1 million 380 thousand square meters and Buyukcekmece with 1 million 342 thousand square meters .
